What Did We Do Before?

Just sitting here at my old, worn out kitchen table - folding laundry, contemplating what to make for dinner, watching my daughter play with our dog and of course on-line.

I wonder what we did before being so "ONLINE" all the time?

In the last few minutes I have checked my email, received an update on a sick friend, moderated comments on my blog from as far away as Canada, checked the two forums I am somewhat addicted to, read two of my favorite bloggers, played a game of scrabble with an "online" buddy on my new favorite gathering site, read the local and national news updates, traded jokes and banter with a friend through texting, and looked up a recipe to consider for dinner tonight!

ALL ONLINE! It is truly amazing, and a wonderful option to have in this life. Here I am a stay at home mom, and yet I am connected through this laptop to friends, family and strangers, up to the minute news from the national to the entertaining, new tips, creative writing, games, the WHOLE WORLD!

Such fun - do you think the folks a hundred years ago could have even imagined it?

Living happily ever after,
Beverly
