Going Dark For the Day

Sometimes things happen that even we who have the hope of the hopeless cannot reason out.

After arriving home and checking my emails, I found out the news of loss of Steven Curtis Chapman and his family. How devastating for them. Steven Curtis Chapman, as a spokesman for adoption and in particular Bethany Christian Services, pointed my family to use BCS as an adoption agency, after we had followed his family's adoption story. I feel tied to this tragedy in part by my love of his music, his heart for children and for our shared adoption agency and experience.

After hearing about this horrific loss for the Chapman family, I am going to let my blog go dark for the day. Here is a link to a recap of the memorial service for their sweet daughter.
