It May Not Have Been My First Rodeo, But It WAS Hers!

Oh Bloggity Friends... did I have a day yesterday!!

First we attended a car show -- Hubby entered his pride and joy - and he had LOTS of fun.

Then I took my daughter to the annual Arts Festival downtown... it was crowded and fun and noisy and smelly and my daughter had a blast! She loved the Chinese dragon, the jump houses, she petted rabbits and a snake. She had her face painted, got a balloon shaped like a dog, saw some belly dancers and sat with glee as some drummers pounded out a beat. (She is destined to be a drummer.... let's see, do I know any drummers? I believe I do... I may be calling on you for some lessons in the years to come!!)

Then after the shortest nap in history - we all packed up and went to the rodeo! It was Hannah's first rodeo and she LOVED it. She was fascinated by the calves, cheered as the cowboys (and girls) roped their little legs and yee hawed at all the appropriate times. We watched a friend's son ride a bull and then she posed for some pictures with the cowboys. I regret to say that my digital camera is not cooperating with me... so all the pictures I took were on a disposable camera. That means that I will have to go to the W*lm*rt to develop and put them on a cd. You will just have to wait a day or three.

It was a gloriously fun-packed day. I am exhausted as well as my whole family.

Hope you had a great weekend as well....leave me a comment and let me know what "fall" type thing you did!!

I opened up my windows. We enjoyed a wonderful walk at the swamp with our new puppy Lacie. I also bought 3 bottles of Pumpkin Spice creamer(it was on sale). Ahhh...how I love fall!
