Little Cabin By The Lake

I am off on a women's retreat with my church. As you read this, I will be in a cabin, on a lake, hopefully enjoying sleeping a little later than usual, after sleeping a full eight hours - something I haven't done since my last weekend away in June.

I am excited that I get to go on this retreat - I have missed the first two - wasn't missing this one. I paid my money early, reserved my spot, notified the hubby of his child care duties and now, at last the day is here.

I am sharing the little cabin by the lake with some great women, all of whom have a love for the 80's music and trivia games... I will be in heaven, spiritual retreat by day, slumber party set to all my 80's memories at night.

I will fill you in on all the fun details when I return.

One great big thank you to my husband for taking care of the girl, a thank you to my parents who are stepping in to care for her on Saturday night and thanks to the ones who are putting the retreat together - I know it will be a great weekend.
