Why The Big Bad Wolf and I Would Be Really Good Friends

I love bacon.

I love ham.

I love pork chops.

One of my favorite stories has always been "The Three Little Pigs".

In the 80's I was obsessed with Kevin Bacon. (Oh, who am I kidding - I am still obsessed with Kevin Bacon.)

Clearly I need some sort of intervention.

Maybe all my friends could gather in my kitchen, remove all the ham, bacon and pork chops from the fridge and freezer and then sneak into my closet and rip down that awesome poster of Kevin Bacon, as Wren in Footloose circa 1984, that I have hanging on the wall hidden by winter coats.

Afterwards all could all sit around and beg me to surrender, turn from my pork-obsessed ways and seek a new, leaner, white meat path.

Of course, it doesn't help that one of my friends sent me a Kevin Bacon picture through email today... clearly this "enabler" cannot be invited to the intervention. Or that another friend sent me a recipe for pork chops that sounds delicious. Strike her off the intervention attendee list as well.

There you have it folks, my need for a Pork Product Anonymous meeting is now public knowledge, as well as the fact that that I feel pressure to post on this blog daily, even when I have no inspiration, and the post is utterly silly.

Have a great day my bloggity friends... and if you see a good pork chop on a menu or Kevin Bacon (anywhere!) PLEASE let me know!

Beverly
