It's The Great Pumpkin Patch, Hannah Joy

Today we took our annual trip to a neighboring town and enjoyed their Jack-o-Lantern Jubilee. It is a fun festival, lots of craft booth, food booths and those wonderful inflatable slides and bouncy houses.
Hannah enjoys herself immensely. We trudge along behind her, gathering all the goodies, balloons, popcorn, candy and other items she collects as she meanders down the street.
It started out a bit dreary and overcast, even a little cool, but thankfully the sun finally came out and we were soon bemoaning our long sleeve shirts.

The event is always capped off with a visit to our favorite drive-in,The SnowCap, for burgers and malts.

This year we added one new adventure to our fun filled Fall Saturday afternoon and stopped at a pumpkin patch. Hannah enjoyed seeing all the pumpkins, all different shapes and sizes and colors. She even let me take a few photos, and she picked out three good pumpkins for us to decorate.
All in all, it was a great day. A wonderful way to herald the season and spend some time together.

Now, what did you do this pretty Saturday afternoon?
