My "Haunted" House

On Sunday after church we met my parents at a local Mexican restaurant. It was DECKED out in Halloween decorations and my daughter LOVED it. She is a big Halloween fan, loves the spooky and creepy.... and she adored the cobwebs that were placed all over that place.

Being the good mommy I am, (insert a big laugh right here...) I decided to indulge her a bit and stopped by the drugstore on the way home and bought a bag of cobwebs. I thought it would be fun for her, and interesting for any guests, to decorate our home like the restaurant. I even secretly hoped this would give me another week off from cleaning all the real cobwebs that seem to have crept into the corners of our home this summer.
Here is our finished product... hope you enjoy the tour of our "haunted house!"
Welcome, won't you come on in?

The spooky cobwebbed fireplace!

Bay Window in My Breakfast Nook -- and the cobwebs!!

Even the dining room couldn't escape those pesky spiders!

Hope you weren't too scared.....

We had fun - and Hannah loves her cobwebbed home... that is all that really matters anyway.

okay -- here is the intreptation of the saying above my kitchen bay window... it is Italian,

"There is no love more sincere, than the love of food."

Got it off the Carraba's menu!

Thanks for the kind comments!
