We are taking in the children's Christmas program at church tonight...I do believe the Christmas spirit has hit this little house on the lane!! And since she wouldn't let me take a picture of her and the cookies... here is one taken this morning before church...just Hannah and Mr. Freckles (did I mention we have a new fish?)

Mmmmm, turkey pot pie. I think I might make that with the left overs from my roasted chicken. Well, chicken pot pie, but you know what I mean.
Do you do yours with actual pie crust on top and bottom? Did you know that the PA Dutch do this stew/soup/thing with big fat handmade noodles in it and call THAT chicken pot pie? You can even buy the noodles pre-made and they are called "pot pie noodles." I'd never heard of it till I went to college.
Gimme mine with pie crust, thank you very much.
