Goo Goo Dolls!!!

So, last night we went to a little concert. Danny and me and about two or three thousand of our closest friends.

Here a few pics... first up, Will McRaine. Cool local dude, joined on stage by Jacob Beltz...another cool, multi-talented dude. Then Occasional Milkshake...dudes from some cool bands...Hootie and The BlowFish, Blue Dogs and Cravin Melon. Awesome....whoo hoo!! I would travel to see this band!Next on the ticket. Colbie Cailatte...I only knew two songs, even more shocking...my hubby knew one of them too, but still a great performance set, cool band especially! And then....The Goo Goo Dolls. I am a huge fan. Loved them since they first came on the scene about fifteen years ago, still love them today. In fact, there have been quite a few Goo Goo Doll references here and here , oh and definitely here, on this old blog through the years....and I am sure there will be many, many more before it is all said and done. Their lyrics tend to say things I wish I could say more often than not...I kinda like the lead singer too...it is American Rock and Roll baby, and I LOVE IT!It was a great evening...my ears were ringing when it was over and my throat was a little sore, and I think the pollen must have been bad or something cause I pretty much cried through their (first!) final song...Iris..."And I don't want the world to see me, cause I don't think that they'd understand...when everything's made to be broken, I just want you to know who I am!!"
