Since I haven't written in a few days, I am feeling the pressure of a post -- but it is 5:30 in the morning and unfortunately my brain and that writing muse seem to be still asleep.
Because I know most of you think we live a thrilling, non-stop, ride of adventure here in my little part of the world, and I do so hate to disappoint you so I will fill you in on our weekend and week so far. Hang on...tighten the seat belt...it is gonna be T.H.R.I.L.L.I.N.G!!
Last week we went to work, to school, to work, to school, to work, to school, got my hair cut, to school, SPELLING TEST (she made a 100!!) went to dinner with friends, went to a car show, tried a new Chinese place and got ice cream. Life on the edge, people, life on the edge!
After lunch on Sunday (roast from the crockpot, that made the house smell really good and made it extra hard to sit through a church service, just knowing what was awaitin' at home!) we all took a nap.
I use that term loosely...my husband took a nap, my daughter did consent to watch a movie in her room and I tried to catch up on last season's Rachel Zoe on dvd.
I am now completely obsessed with fashion - NOT! But I love the show! It is BANANAS!!
This week has been even more exciting...we went to work, to school, work to school, no piano lesson this week, (YAY for a bit of rest from the exhausting weekly schedule o' fun) and today we are back to work, school and church tonight!
See --- EXCITING, THRILLING, ADVENTUROUS! Don't feel like you have missed out too much by my non-posting hiatus...consider this the Reader's Digest abridged version of our life. I'll try and do better next time.
Living Happily in the Moment!
Bev
