Walking on the Moon... Pie!

Blogging everyday has become something I did long ago! I apologize to everyone who has checked in everyday hoping to see a new post...I would say that I will do better - but I don't want to raise your hopes! Let's just enjoy this post for awhile!!

January is about over but it was CHOCKED full of fun! Most of my work weeks have consisted of only three days (a fact I have rather grown accustomed to and will have a hard time adjusting this last week of January to the four day work week for certain!) and lots of unusual fun times.

We have had snow.... and ice and tons of fun!!

And this past weekend, our best friends and I kidnapped my husband for his birthday. We took him to Charleston - it was fun and cold!!!

I think we were so cold this spot looked inviting and someone stole a picture!! Anyway.........

We had tons of fun, ate at Hyman's Seafood and Bubba Gumps, stayed at the Mills House and had this wonderful view of Charleston..and we could even see Fort Sumter from our window...it was fabulous!

We spent lots of time walking the market and shopping and eating and we even found an outlet mall on the way home that helped us extend our trip for a few more hours. We even got to spend a few minutes walking in the Circular Church graveyard!!

It was a great way to spend my husband's birthday weekend...good times with great friends and NO CHILDREN in sight!! Thanks MeMa and Papa for taking care of our little one!!
