Last evening I was treated to dinner at Macaroni Grill with my family and good friend Kim (aka Band Girl) and her daughter Adaire. We even managed to get a picture of the four of us -- a rare occurrence, especially with our two wiggly girls!
The food was fantastic, as always and the evening was topped off by a personal serenade from a waitress - nothing says Happy Birthday, like being sung Happy Birthday in Italian! My daughter was fascinated! After Mac Grill, we went to my parent's house for some mighty fine Strawberry Cake and ice cream and oodles of presents and a more traditional rendition of the Happy Birthday song.
It was a great evening - and if I have to celebrate a birthday - I can't think of a better way to do it.
Thanks everyone!

Birthday Girl

Happy Birthday!!! I heard it's your birthday and wanted to say I'm so glad to say I know Bev Mama!
looks like you all had a great time. I love your blog, Kim turned me on to it after she saw mine.
Kim and I go back about 12 years and I miss her-she is one of the most fun people I have ever known.
Ihave been to a few of those concerts with Kim myself-so fun!
Happy Birthday and tell Kim to call me.
God Bless

It sounds like you had an awesome birthday!!!! It doesn't get any better than to have Happy Birthday sung to you in Italian (well, unless it was actually sung while IN Italy).
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!
