WOW - do you see that countdown going on over there on the right side of the screen. I have only 5 more days until we are basking in the gloriousness of the beach! My little family and I are SO EXCITED!
I spent the day scouring all over town, hunting and gathering all kinds of things we are going to be needing next week, like sunscreen and shoes and towels!! It made me giddy with the excitement. I even bought a set of horseshoes - which were very heavy, by the way, so the uhum, "older" members of our family could enjoy a good game of horseshoes on the beach. I have a feeling us younger ones will enjoy it too.
Our annual family beach vacation is also something to look forward to, I mean who could resist a house, right on the beach, waking up to the sound of the surf, grilling some really good food on the deck, hanging out in the sunshine with all the family, fishing from the waves, building sand castles, and on, and on, and on, I could go. IT IS GOING TO BE SUCH FUN! I wish I could take you all with me... I am hoping I can find a wifi hotspot on the island and be able to blog a little while we are away ... but if not, just know that we are having a spectacular time and I will share it all with you when I return.
Now, I have packages to unload, laundry to do and dinner to cook, the house is quiet due to nap time and I had better get a move on.
