I am participating in a great new (at least to me) blog event. Fridays Fave 5. It is a neat way to look back on the week and remember the best and my most favorite things that happened in the week.
Here we go:
Feeling the cool crisp autumn air in the mornings as we go to school. There is nothing more exciting to me than the first chilly days in autumn. The days have ended up around 80 degrees, but they have finally started to have a clip to the air in the morning hours. I am so thankful for this invigorating touch, just gets the day started on a great note.
Shopping at Kohls. They had a sale ya'll. I got some cute new things and even managed to keep my sanity while shopping with the four year old. She was actually helpful - pushed the cart and gave opinions in the dressing room
Spending time with my mom, learning about our family history through a cousin's research. We have had such fun peeking at the past and spent some great quality time while copying in the information from the book. Fun, Fun, Fun.
Spending some time with a dear friend, laughing and just enjoying the company. I don't get to do this much, my heart belongs to my friends and family and there just never seems to be enough time to sit, visit and reconnect. I am always grateful for whatever snippet I get.
Hugs and kisses. From my child, my family, and the dearest and nearest to my heart. I can't get enough of either - "for you girl, there's just not enough love in the world" is a quote from a Don Henley song that someone used to sing to me all the time. Guess it is still true - I can't get enough love from the people around me ... I am an empty hole - happy to be filled up.

Although around here it's been very chilly in the mornings dipping below freezing a couple times. And a sale would always make my favorite list for sure. Hope you'll play again! Nice to meet you!

I am loving the cooler fall temperatures, too.
I've never found clothes for me at Kohl's, but I have found clothes for my husband and son and some neat household items.
I enjoy learning about family history, too. I wish I had been interested earlier when more relatives were alive to ask questions of.
